Vitamin Z+ Fitness is committed to making a difference. We are proud to be fundraising for CancerCare Manitoba Foundation and we are asking for your support in helping us reach the goal of $5,000.00 by December 31, 2021.
Last year, we shared our love story living with cancer for GivingTuesday and CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. You helped us raise over $120,000. We shared some of the highs and lows of what it is like to live with Stage 4 cancer, and highlighted how we lived in 3 month blocks when Matt would go for his routine scans. Our life has changed a lot this year and for the first time in a long time (knock on wood) we are feeling more comfortable living a ‘normal life’ for a couple in their 30’s. We dream and talk about things that felt so far out of reach over the last few years.
For this GivingTuesday, we will share how our life continues to improve as a family that is directly impacted by cancer. Yes, Matt lives with Stage 4 cancer but you would never know. CancerCare Manitoba Foundation has made the impossible, possible for us. We went from ‘running out of options’ and being told we likely wouldn’t be able to have children, to gaining access to a life-saving treatment and bringing our little miracle baby into the world. If it wasn’t for the miracle workers at CancerCare Manitoba and generous donors like you, our lives would look very different.
Life could change for us at any point again and there are many stories that haven’t had the same outcomes as us. Research needs to continue and with your support it can. You have helped give people like us, more tomorrows with our loved ones. We will forever be grateful for your generosity.
Join the Movement on November 30th to help us raise $130,000 in 24 hours! All to support CancerCare Manitoba Research Institute with CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Here is the website https://www.cancercarefdn.mb.ca/givingtuesday-ambassadors/ to learn how $130,000 helps CancerCare Manitoba purchase a new Ultracentrifuge for the CancerCare Manitoba Research Institute and learn why new equipment is so important to the future of Manitobans facing a cancer diagnosis.
Supporting the foundation this GivingTuesday will help dedicated professionals who work in the labs have the tools they need to advance crucial cancer research, the kind of research that has helped us!
Together, we will make this a day of giving for Manitobans who have been touched by cancer.
All funds raised stay in Manitoba. Click the event website link to make your donation and show your support!
